General

Visual Veggies Software strives to ensure that its products are accessible to people with disabilities.

The following outlines the current accessibility features in our desktop software, our web apps, and our mobile apps.

Desktop Software:

Desktop software, compatible with Mac and Windows computers, is software you install and use on your personal computer.

In the desktop software, we have the following accessibility accommodations:

• The ability to have the text read aloud to you via artificial intelligence, specifically in the Practice Exam explanations, the Library articles, and the Exam Review
• The ability to turn on Closed Captioning in the Whiteboard Video Tutorials
• The ability to increase the amount of time in the Practice Exams.  This feature is designed for students who will be granted additional time in their registration exam
• The ability to pause the timer in the Practice Exams (except for the Simulated Exams)
• The ability to increase the text size in the Library articles
• Button and label font sizes at 18 to 20 points in most areas of the software
• The ability to change the color scheme of the controls in the software
• The ability to switch between Light and Dark Mode

Web Apps:

Web apps, compatible with any device that connects to the internet, is software you log in from our website to use.

In the web apps, we have the following accessibility accommodations:

• Supports the following accessibility functions for blind, low-vision, and deaf users: High-contrast, auto-captions on videos, focus ring, keyboard navigation, screen readers, accessible images, transcripts for videos, and logical focus management consistent with WCAG 2.1 Level A guidelines.

Other helpful items:

• The ability to increase the amount of time in the Practice Exams.  This feature is designed for students who will be granted additional time in their registration exam
• The ability to pause the timer in the Practice Exams (except for the Simulated Exams)
• Button and label font sizes at 18 to 20 points in most areas of the app
• The ability to change the color scheme of the controls in the software

Mobile Apps:

Mobile apps, compatible with Apple iOS and Google Android smartphones and tablets, are apps you purchase and install through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and use on your phone or tablet.

In the mobile apps, we have the following accessibility accommodations:

• Button and label font sizes at 18 to 20 points in most areas of the app
• The ability to change the text size (Flash Cards app only)
