Study Suite Mock Exams is a web app designed especially for students who only want to take simulated or mock exams. This app may be used on any device, including smartphones! Internet connection is required.
This one app allows you to choose content relevant to the RD Exam or the DTR Exam.
A subscription is 3 months in length, and this comes with 5 exam attempts (different questions in each exam!). Choose between a 25-question test, a 50-question test, a 100-question test, and a Full Simulation Exam!
Each user must have their own license of the app. Sharing the license is not allowed.
Important note: The questions in the database are the same as the questions in the desktop Study Suite software and the Study Suite Anywhere web app. If you already have either of these apps, then this Mock Exams app is not for you.

Use Study Suite Mock Exams on any device that is connected to the internet, including smartphones! With Study Suite Mock Exams, you are not tied to using the app on just one computer. You have the freedom to start working on one device and then again later on another device!

Study Suite Mock Exams app features:
- App Subscription: Study Suite Mock Exams is a 3-month subscription with five simulated exam attempts. Note: Choosing any of the test types below will count as one attempt.
- Test lengths:
• 25-question test
• 50-question test
• 100-question test
• Full Simulation Exam
- Full Simulation Exam: Asks a minimum of 125 questions and a maximum of 145 questions for students studying for the RD Exam, and a minimum of 110 questions and a maximum of 130 questions for students studying for the DTR Exam. We highly recommend this test category when using the app so you get the most exposure of questions and the full experience of the actual Registration Exam.
- Question Database: Over 1,400 multiple choice questions included in the database! All exam questions are chosen at random, and you will never have the same test twice. Repeated questions will not be seen during the initial five attempts. Important note: The questions in the database are the same as the questions in the desktop Study Suite software and the Study Suite Anywhere web app. If you already have either of these apps, then this Mock Exams app is not for you.
- Timed Tests: The Full Simulation Exam provides 3 hours to complete it. This may be extended in the Settings section for students who will be granted additional time in their Registration Exam. The timer cannot be paused.
- Save and Continue Later: In our Study Suite software and web app, the simulated exams cannot be stopped and continued later on. In Study Suite Mock Exams, you may do this in the event you do not have time to finish the test.
- Simulated exams: While taking the exam, you will not see your score, whether or not you answered the question correctly, or the questions’ explanations since these tests are intended to simulate the actual Registration Exam.
- Post-Exam report: See all questions you were exposed to in the exam, if the questions were answered correctly or not, the score as a percentage, and a Mock Scaled Score. The Mock Scaled Score is a score out of 50 points, where 25 points or greater is considered passing. This is similar to the scaled score in the actual RD Exam and DTR Exam. While the app’s Mock Scaled Score does not represent the actual score students will achieve in their Registration Exam, our records indicate students who do well in our apps have a higher likelihood of passing the Registration Exam.
- Retake completed exams: You can retake the exams you completed as many times as you want during your 3-month subscription. These will be the same questions in the test you are retaking, but they will be in a different order.
- Exam Review: You may review completed exams as many times as you like during the length of your subscription. View the question, the correct answer, the answer you chose, and the question’s detailed explanation.
- Exam Proficiency: Shows the overall average of each main category of the Registration Exam (Principles of Dietetics, Clinical, Management, and Foodservice). Also shows a bar graph illustrating the five most recent test attempts so you can see your progression between attempts.
- Progress Report: Download a PDF report of your test. The report shows your score as a percentage, your Mock Scaled Score, and the topics from questions you answered correctly and incorrectly.
Study Suite Mock Exams is a 3-month subscription. During your 3-month term, you will have access to 5 mock (simulated) exams. Each exam will be different, and you will see new questions with each attempt.
You may review and retake completed exams as many times as you like while your subscription is still active.

No. Unlike other mock exam products that give you only one mock exam with the same questions and in the same order, you will have 5 completely different tests, all with different questions with Study Suite Mock Exams! We have a very large database pool of questions, over 1,100 total!
Depending on the test lengths you choose, and if you extend/renew your Study Suite Mock Exams subscription, you eventually can start seeing repeated questions. For example, if in your initial 3-month subscription, you took 5 Full Simulation Exams, and then you purchased a new subscription with 5 additional exam attempts, after your third new Full Simulation Exam (8 taken in total), mathematically, you can start to see some repeated questions. If you took the 25-question Mock Exam and only this length each time, it would take 46 of these tests before you saw a repeated question.
Now, if you retake any of your completed exams, then yes, these will be the same questions. However, the tests will still be different thanks to the ton of randomization in the app! The order of the questions will be completely different, and many of the answer choices will be different from the previous attempt. All of our questions have 6 possible answer choices. The app chooses 4 at random (one being the correct choice, obviously) and displays the choices in a random order.
Study Suite Mock Exams is a standalone web app of only the mock (simulated) exams.
Comparing to the desktop Study Suite software and the Study Suite Anywhere web app, these two apps are more comprehensive in terms of study modules and features. For example, the desktop Study Suite and the web app both contain articles, videos, matching, and flash cards, and none of these extra study modules are included in Study Suite Mock Exams.
In addition, the desktop Study Suite software and the Study Suite Anywhere web app contain additional testing modes, such as by domain, by subcategory, simulated exams, math-only questions, build test by domain/topic/keyword, redemption, and retake exams. Study Suite Mock Exams contains only the simulated exams.
The question database is the same in Study Suite Mock Exams as in our desktop and web app versions of Study Suite.

Study Suite Mock Exams covers both the RD Exam and the DTR Exam! When you first activate your license, you will need to choose whether you are studying for the RD Exam or the DTR Exam. The web app will show you relevant information based on the test you’re studying for!
If you made a mistake during the activation process and chose the wrong test, no problem! Simply click on Settings in the left navigation, change your test, and click Save Settings. And poof! You now have material specific to your exam!
Unfortunately not. Study Suite Mock Exams is a 3-month subscription providing 5 mock exams. We do not provide partial refunds for unused months or exam attempts.

We do have a special Academic license of Study Suite Mock Exams! With the Academic license, you are allowed up to 10 new student activations. Need additional student activations? No problem! For a small per-student fee, we can increase the number of new activations associated with your license.
The license runs for 12 months and will need to be renewed annually for continued use and additional new student activations.
In addition to the longer subscription, an unlimited number of mock exams may be taken by your students! They will also enjoy all of the other benefits of Study Suite Mock Exams, including the ability to review completed exams, the Exam Proficiency report, and downloading progress reports. Plus, you may be eligible for a free 12-month subscription to Study Suite Monitoring if interested in monitoring student progress with using Study Suite Mock Exams.
